Why You Want to Live in Fort Worth's Alliance Corridor
When residents talked about Alliance in Fort Worth, it referenced Fort Worth Alliance Airport just 14 miles north of the city's business district. For the past decade, the city has carefully planned the build-out of the area. Once upon a time, all you could see were horse ranches, a few small neighborhoods, and of course, the airport.
With jobs picking up in the area especially with the addition of the Facebook data center, people started seeking new homes in Fort Worth around Alliance Corridor. Furthermore, private owners of the large strip of land have sold the property. The leveled land will fill with homes, roads, and businesses like AT&T, Bell, FAA, Fidelity, Hillwood, and Charles Schwab.
Welcome to the new Alliance that has grown beyond the airport's boundaries.
The Effects of AllianceTexas
AllianceTexas contains a 26,000-acre master-planned community home to almost 500 companies. It sprawls across Tarrant and Denton County and crosses six cities including Fort Worth, Haslet, Roanoke, Westlake, Northlake, and Argyle.
The mixed-use community features industrial and office space, retail, and new homes. Cool fact: AllianceTexas is almost double the size of Manhattan. The area will not forget its countryside roots and has almost 80,000 trees planned as well as thousands of buffalo, longhorns, and cattle.
Also, in ATC are Sam Moon, Best Buy, Belk, JCPenney, and Kroger Marketplace. Full-service medical facilities consist of Texas Health Resources, Cook's Children's, Medical City Alliance, and Parkway Surgical.
Parks and recreation will be plentiful with Prairie Vista, a 17-acre park with hike and bike trails plus a 7-acre pond. Bluestem Park is a 14-acre restored prairie home to many species, 500 native trees, and a diversity of wildlife.
An abundance of transportation options will make it easy to get around with Highways 35W, 114, and 170. Alliance Town Center and the planned Lone Star Crossing located at I-35W and SH 170 cover all your shopping needs.
Residents have access to many higher education opportunities covering a variety of fields and industries.
