Sandlin Community Highlight: Paloma Creek in Little Elm, TX
In our search of DFW Texas neighborhoods for places to build new homes, our Sandlin Homes team couldn't help but be drawn to Paloma Creek in Little Elm. Homeowners love its location and little bit of country lifestyle that's near all the resources you need for everyday living. Little Elm is just west of the Dallas North Tollway along the U.S. 380 corridor.
Paloma Creek Community Amenities
Established in 2001, this community will have 5,500 homes across 1,300 acres when it's done. This neighborhood contains three amenity centers, or clubhouses. One centers has a maximum occupancy of 200 and the other two hold up to 150 people. They have a divided space with a full kitchen and two feature fireplaces. Residents can reserve these centers for private parties and events.
The neighborhood also includes four swimming pools with kiddie water parks and a dog park. Homeowners receive an access card that gets them in the two 24/7 gyms. The pools — open from May 1 through September 30 — also require using a card to enter. This ensures the gyms and pools remain clean and safe.
The Paloma Creek Homeowner Association holds a diversity of events throughout the year. They also have special interest groups such as a wine group, veterans group, and book club. If you don't see a favorite hobby or activity on the list, you can start one.
Outdoors
For those who love the outdoors, private parks and five miles of hike-and-bike trails await in the neighborhood. The community plans to build more trails.
Paloma Creek is only two minutes away from Lake Lewisville where you can enjoy boating, water skiing, jet skiing, and fishing. A variety of fish species fill the lake, such as blue catfish, channel catfish, crappie, large-mouth bass, and spotted bass. The marina supports 250 boats in covered and uncovered boat slips.
