Just three days into a temporary position with Sandlin Homes, Kristin Reeder knew she found a place where she could grow professionally and would be treated like family. 

On the day she referenced, Kristin was working from home with a minor eye injury. She returned to the office the next morning and each one of her new co-workers made a point to ask how she was or how they could help. It was just the first example of the rewarding experience she’s had in her first year with the family-owned and operated builder.

“When that happened, I absolutely knew that I found a great company,” Kristin said.

She started in the position back in July and has since joined the Sandlin Homes team full-time as an Online Sales Coordinator. In that position, she is one of the first people you will meet on your homebuying journey answering leads and inquiries for each of Sandlin’s new home communities in Dallas-Fort Worth. 

Once Kristin has started assessing a buyer’s needs, she will work to help them find the right community and floor plan for their unique situation. She can also help families looking to build on their own lot. This service is available throughout the DFW metroplex and Sandlin Homes can help buyers build one of our proven floor plans in a location that fits their specific needs. 

“I had a lot of reservations about moving into the position I’m currently in,” Kristin said. “I had never worked in any sort of sales role and it was very intimidating, but they believe in me. They have gone above and beyond to make sure that I know they have my back and support me in this new professional endeavor.”

And her position is more important than ever as Sandlin Homes continues to grow with 17 active communities and more than 50 available homes. The company is also offering a “New Year, New Home” savings event on select available homes that could save homebuyers more than $10,000 with a signed contract before March 31. The promotion may include appliances, blinds, or even money to use toward closing costs and price reductions.

In her time away from work, Kristin enjoys spending time at the gym, cooking, painting, and playing Pokemon GO with her fiance and step-daughter. Her fiance works at the Naval base in Fort Worth and is the reason they landed in Texas.
