Candy and costumes. Who doesn't love Halloween? The fun can keep right on going beyond trick-or-treating. DFW residents have a choice of many Halloween events in Fort Worth and nearby. Even adults will enjoy themselves.
Autumn at the Arboretum

This giant pumpkin festival is a spectacular show of colors with thousands of flowers, blooming plants, pumpkins, squash, and gourds. Every year features a theme. This year's is "The Wonderful World of Oz."
Boo at the Zoo

The zoo's annual daytime Halloween event features treat stations, carnival games, and animal shows. Treat stations and carnival games require a treat coupon. Zoo guests will receive six treat coupons per admission. Extras are available for purchase.

Dia de los Muertos Festival

This annual event honors, celebrates, and remembers the lives of past loved ones at Rose Marine Theater. Attendees can check out the art exhibition, view "Dia de Los Muertos" short films, and attend the "Book of Life" movie screening. There will also be other films, arts and crafts, games, foods, face painting, and live entertainment.
