And that includes both yours and ours. Behind Sandlin Homes are J.B. Sandlin’s sons Mike, Terry, and Scott Sandlin, and their brother-in-law Matt Speight.

As a tribute to the principles of J.B. Sandlin, The Texas Association of Builders named the Texas Builder of the Year award in his honor, 'The J.B. Sandlin Texas Builder of the Year'.
Out of all the Texas builders, Sandlin Homes was awarded the "1997 Texas Builder of the Year" and the "2010 Texas Builder of the Year" by the Texas Association of Builders.
The Greater Fort Worth Association of Builders’ awarded Sandlin Homes “Builder of the Year” in 1971, 1990, 2000, 2002, and 2014, as well as the “Developer of the Year” in 2003 and 2004.
In 2008, the Texas Association of Builders inducted J.B. Sandlin into the Texas Housing Hall of Honor.
Sandlin Homes received the ENERGY STAR Certified Homes Marker Leader Award every year between 2011 and 2017.
