Meet Matt Speight

From the years during college when he worked on framing crews and now over 30 years experience with Sandlin Homes, Matt Speight is a seasoned veteran when it comes to homebuilding. Matt graduated in 1983 from the University of Texas. He and his wife, Suzy, have three children. Along with his love for building comes his love for community involvement. He and his family are active members of Good Sheppard Catholic Church and involved with numerous charitable organizations and organization boards like Special Olympics and North Texas SNAP. Matt also enjoys spending time outdoors whether it be playing golf, hiking or simply spending time with his family and friends on the back porch.

Professional involvement in the homebuilding industry includes:

• Director of the National Association of Homebuilders
• Director of the Texas Association of Homebuilders
• Director of the Greater Ft. Worth Homebuilders Association since 1993
• Director of Liberty Bank since 2000

Past involvement includes:

• 2002-2003 President of the Greater Ft. Worth Homebuilders Association
